Summit Road Carriers Expands Relief Operations Team with Experts from Global Humanitarian Logistics

Summit Road Carriers has appointed three senior operations leaders from global humanitarian organizations to run its growing relief-freight network, which now manages over 60,000 tonnes of donated goods a year.

The new team brings combined experience across famine response, hurricane recovery, and refugee support corridors. Their first task: standing up two additional rapid-response lanes ahead of storm season.

“Relief freight is a different discipline. These are people who have run convoys through the hardest conditions on earth.” — Marcus Reid, Founder & CEO

The expansion also adds a dedicated donor-reporting desk, so funders receive delivery confirmation with photos and timestamps for every consignment they finance.
